1. How does Iguana integrate with my library’s web site?
Iguana can either become your library’s web site or an area off your web site where users customize their own page. In the latter case, you may think of the Google / iGoogle example. The Google page is the landing page while the user may personalize his or her own environment in iGoogle.
2. Is Iguana essentially a search / discovery application?
Yes and no. Iguana is a communications platform that allows you to deliver a users experience beyond search. In other words, Iguana includes applications for users to engage around your services and offerings in many ways, and not only through search. Search or discovery is an optional component of Iguana. If you already use a discovery application – like Encore, Primo or AquaBrowser – you can keep using it.
3. Does Iguana work with my library system?
Iguana interfaces with your local integrated library system on multiple levels for search (in the local database) and user activities (borrowing items, placing reservations, etc.). Contact us at
experience-iguana@infor.com to see if your library system is currently supported.
4. Can I define the look & feel of the Iguana interface?
We deliver the Iguana platform with a set of standard CSS templates. We can also design the interface to meet your specific branding requirements. For more information please contact your account representative.
5. How much does Iguana cost?
Cost depends on a number of factors including the size of your library and the population served. To receive a quote, please fill out the form on
the contact us page and an account representative will get back to you as soon as possible.
